In order for MacroPoint to establish connection, we need an API token and a group ID
Instructions:
Creating API Tokens:
1. Add a new API token by clicking “Add an API Token”
2. Once you’ve done so you will be presented with a menu allows you to adjust the “scopes” or permissions that the token gives access to.
3 . If you are going to track vehicles you will scroll down to the “Vehicles” dropdown and check:
- Read Vehicle Statistics
- Write Vehicle Statistics
Typically, the default scopes will allow for trailer tracking should you need/want it. If you experience issues please speak with you MacroPoint Activations rep.
