Connection Overview
To move forward with Verizon Connect/Fleetmatics integration you will need a username and password with API access.
Instructions:
- Please reach out to your Verizon/Fleetmatcis rep to obtain a username and password with webservice/API access
- Once credentials are received please email them to your Descartes MacroPoint Activations Consultant.
- Truck identifiers used are 'Numbers' as listed in the portal. The Verizon/Fleetmatics portal allows you to assign a “number” to the vehicle in the vehicle properties. This can be different from the vehicle “name” that is typically visible on your map.
